I think I'm sitting on an emotion roller coaster with my mood swinging into two extreme ends.

Its chinese new year tomorrowwww. Everybody's going to dress up nicely tmr.

I planned to wear something presentable instead of jeans this year, but i didn't expect my condition to worsen so badly, or my self-consciousness to shoot up this high.

I feel so deprived of wearing nice clothes now, and I really cannot imagine wearing jeans for the rest of my life. :((((((((((

Sigh, I don't feel like going anywhere tomorrow, I just want to stay home and be safe from the judgmental society.

My psoriasis have been flaring up to a frightening stage lately. A stage so frightening I feel like amputating my legs off.

I know I've touch on this topic many times.

People would usually go, "hey! think about the people in 3rd word country. count yourself lucky already!"

Yes, of course I can imagine their situation being million times worst than mine.

But fact is, you only compare your life with the people in your world.

And 'world' being the what that surrounds you.

All the sufferings that the 3rd world people have to go through, it is unfair. But everyone else around them is in equal pain, be it their family or friends. In their eyes, the sufferings might be a normal thing, because everyone else is in the same plight.

Of course, that is only a presumption I'm making.

The point is, by common instincts, I would place myself among the people i came across instead of the misfortunate. Sadly, my world can only be this broad.

The so many things I am deprived of.

The unforgiving stares people give me as if I am a creature.

No explanations, no reasons, I just have to suck it up.

There were 4 passengers that sat beside me during my bus journey today.

3 of them shunned and sat slanted away from me.

I know it is perfectly understandable.

After all, my skin is in a disturbing condition.

But, can you imagine how that kind of rejection feels?

I wish to put up a sign "It is not contagious. I am also a human. Like you, I have emotions too. Please do not shun me."

Then I thought, nvm, things will get better. At least I will feel safe with my friends.

But hell no.

I know that I have no one to blame, but i really cannot take this any further.

I am on the brim, and I take every single word for it.

I can take jokes, but I can't take the repeated words for a period of time.

I have never felt this unwanted. Even with my family.

Deep down, I can feel the disappointment in my parents.

What have they done to deserve such a daughter that is not normal from all the others?

I am really tired.

As much as I always appear to have accepted it and stuff, I do mind, and I do mind a freaking lot.

I hope that someone can recognise that I have emotions too.

Beauty of little things

Woke up early on a Sunday morning to go photoshooting around the neighbourhood, WITH A NOOBISH CAMERA.

At least holding a professional camera would make you look like you're qualified to do such stuff, but with an outdated digital camera? You just look like an idiot.

But anyway! Heaven been kind to me, the weather was nice.

I started out only looking for scenes that fit the criteria of my assignment, but i found pleasure in taking photos and started snapping almost everything.

This brings me to my new dream.

All along, I wanted to travel around the world.

Now, I wna travel around the world with an overpriced professional-looking camera and capture memories.

The few shots i feel worthy of sharing,

I always wanted to take a photo of the crows, but I have my reserves since I'm phobic of moving creatures. Managed to overcome a little of this fear, but still unable to take a close-up.

I like the content of this pic, but a pity it isn't focused enough.

I can't believe I actually asked to take a photograph of this old couple.

But the scene is too emotion-evoking, and I'd really regret if I didn't capture this.

Half of yishun is under construction now, and it really annoys me.

This' my favourite shot of the day!

I like the idea of swings. Shall go back to take more pictures of the swing for my final portfolio :D

And I initially hated getting into the photography module, but it now seems like a blessing in disguise, however boring the lesson is. (:

Allow me to boost for a moment.

This just came too unexpected. Yes, i have fantasized about this grade, but i curbed it down on the thought that it was beyond my reach. I was prepared to be satisfied with just improvements.

I know that O's english don't mean anything, but to a C5-er, it meant a hell lot!

I AM GLAD THAT I DECIDED TO TRY A SECOND TIME. :D

And come to think of it, I'm glad this result came 2 years late.

If not I would have chosen JC, and I'm pretty sure I would regret it.

You would have died if you're obsessed with believing in the lack while being surrounded by abundance.

The lens of scarcity and abundance is a topic that recently interest me into googling.

I realised I'm very much wired into looking through the lens of scarcity.

And I'm putting the blame on music. Cause I can randomly pick any songs from my ipod, and chances are, it's about the lost/past/unrecoverable/imperfections.

After all, negativity breeds negativity.

"What if abundance is already available to you? You don't have to create it, compete for it, hoard it, fear losing it, or work hard for it. Instead, all you have to do is access it."

The very simple concept that if you focus on scarcity, scarcity will result.

If you focus on abundance, abundance will result.

I look forward to the day i get complete enlightenment from this.

The end of 2011 is nearing.

Just one year and I've been into 3 different semesters in poly.

I wouldn't say its a good year, but certainly better than 2010!

things didn't go very well. right from the first day of school.

i lost my grandfather yesterday. the first kin i lost.

we'all know the thing about life's fragility and treasuring,

but its a different thing altogether when it hits you.

unfortunately, i do not have much memories of my grandfather.

from young, when i have the capacity to remember, he was on the sickbed most of the time.

so, this' an end to all his sufferings.

i feel tons weighing on me.

i don't deny belonging to the strawberry generation.

and i'm spending my day at the funeral till night these days.

there were robots that looked like rabbits.

that was when i woke up.

the flight was *&^%, theres technical problems, heavy fogging etc.

so we were stranded in hong kong for more than an hour.

ended up reaching shanghai at 2pm, hours apart from the supposedly 6am arrival.

3/11/11. somehow, what happened in japan made the following yunnan earthquake seem so insignificant.

by instincts, i did a little bit of googling.

current situation aside,

the largest earthquake magnitude, 9.5 as well as the highest tsunami, 524m happened some 50 years ago.

try imagining a few hdb, all piled up, substituted with water molecules, trashing around the city. it probably take one of such waves to gobble up singapore.

but anw, point is, the world didn't end then.

though frequencies of these disasters are increasing, i insist my stand.

the world will not end.

on its way, molie made friends and realised all that is around her, is a scenery comparable to charlie.

molie finally reached the other end, but now that shes closer with charlie, is charlie still as beautiful as he was in the eyes of molie?

an ant, so insignificant in the eyes of a cat.

charlie might not even know the existence of molie.

yet, all that molie could see was charlie.

i like the last question.

when there is no longer any distance between you and the scenery, will it still be as beautiful as you thought it should be?

my grandpa was admitted in hospital few days back.

Rushed in for merchandise when the gates open, bought all of the above + 2 tees, which cost me almost 3 digits? Afterall, its Once in a lifetime. :D
& I thought there wasn't enough money with me, so i stupidly went back for the atm, and heck, the EPs were sold out when i got back -.-

I AM SEATED AT ROW 10! RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE HALL, AISLE SEAT SOMEMORE. MWHAHAHAH!

Didn't take any pictures though, despite charging two batteries full ;o

Idk what happened, but when qing feng is just metres away, i couldn't deal with the guilt if i had took out my camera. & furthermore, i don't like burden.

I must had loved sodagreen too much, to the extent that im willing to give up my selfish wants to get these memories hardcopied.

CONCERT BEGAN WITH 4 CONSECUTIVE HIGH SONGS!

By instincts, all jumped out of their seats, but the irritating ushers kept signalling us to sit down (?!?!?!)
Qingfeng cued us to stand again, but the ushers continued their 'job'. Too bad they were ignored.
THE CONCERT WAS SO HIGH AFTER THE OPENING SONGS, QINGFENG THOUGHT HIS SHOELACE WENT LOOSE.
TURNS OUT THAT HIS SHOELACE WERE BROKEN! XD

Feels a bit weird with two members absent though,

INSTINCTS TOLD ME TO STICK OUT MY HAND, I TOUCHED XIAOWEI'S FINGERS? I THINK MY HANDS ARE TOO SHORT, IF NOT IT MIGHT BE SHOOK INSTEAD OF TOUCH. ONCE AGAIN, THE USHERS ARE BEING IRRITATING. LIKE 4 OF THEM FORMED A CIRCLE AROUND QINGFENG?! NO CHANCE TO SHAKE HAND AT ALL ):

Encore! The hall was screaming 苏打绿, i always wanted to do that.

& WOOHOO THERE'S NO 小情歌 THAT NIGHT DESPITE MOST SCREAMING THEIR HEADS OFF FOR IT!

Contradicting, but i really don't like how it overshadows the other equally worthy songs.

I rmbed qingfeng said that those whom only like 小情歌 are not the ones that really like sodagreen, or sth along that line. True enough.

But anw, it was an amazing concert.

& an amazing concert should never be one that sounded like the CD, there might be minor mistakes, breakthroughs, but never an exact duplicate.

singapore golden melodies is always the most predictable.

last year, they won 1 out of 6 nominations when they did not attend.

its the annual tw golden melody again.

a mandopop fan not watching this prestigious ceremony is equivalent to a football fan not watching world cup.

like what they say, its LIVE.

so anyway, gotten a half day leave for it.

ended up disappointed, like how a certain country fan would respond after watching a match lost when the winning chances was supposedly secured.

18th & 19th golden melodies,

this best band brought me into mandopop.

and it was 2 nominations in a single category this time.

little boss had his leave and came in place of boss.

mini holidays

took a mini break from work; 3 consecutive days!

this' gna be a chunk of words w/o pictures since they will be at facebook anw.

first day,17/6 was w ta07/08.

met up early for lunch and cycling.

i never knew it can be that tiring.

from ecp all the way to changi airport,

3 hours and some 5digits km.

burnt calories and gained them all back from the bbq that evening.

contributed minimum labour again. ;/

anw,i enjoyed the sea+land breeze.

i enjoyed the time we spent at beach side,

from when the sun was still not down to when moon was visible.

it was a starless night.

18/6, probably the best day i had in my pathetic 2010.

kbox with po in the early afternoon,diana couldn't make it. ):

signed up for the $29 thingy, gotten us koi.

then went to meet up with the 4f people for dinner!

i didn't eat the price i spent for steamboat,

but for the people, it was a worthy meal.

slacked in starbucks after that.

gossiped with mary,diana,minqi. LOL

laughters till 12am & homed.

it wasn't enough, so mary,diana,me opened up a convo and chatted till 2+am.

diana left,and we two continued to 3+am.

heck, i couldnt rmb the last time i stayed up to this hour.

thats how my probably-the-best-day-in-2010 ended.

18/6, i understood how safety felt like.

how comfortable it was to be myself again.

i can joke all i want,i can speak all i want.

missed those times when our only worries was what to eat.

missed those times when our yay family would crowd at the entrance of np.

missed those times when the 4 of us would go kfc, with the 2 of us refusing to leave.

its been a long time.

i wish the 4 of us could go out again, a complete 4 without anybody missing.
